🚨❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Kylian Mbappé has revealed that his mum’s dream was for him to sign for Liverpool: “She always wanted me to sign for Liverpool. 😭 It’s a funny story because it’s true. I had to make a decision when I was at Monaco. I was close to Liverpool because my mum was a big fan of Klopp’s Liverpool, an excellent manager. I met him, I have an incredible relationship with him, and real respect for him. I remember we were on the plane, flying around, and he was explaining his project to me while I was saying, ‘You don’t need to convince me, you’re Jürgen Klopp, it’s Liverpool, it’s a big club.’ In the end, I didn’t listen to Mum. I wanted to go to my city, Paris. I wanted to play in France. I didn’t want to leave my country at that time.” (Source: The Athletic)
