🚨💣 MAJOR controversy surrounding Mohamed “Momo” Sanhadji, head of security for the France national team for over 20 years. 🇫🇷 An investigation by L’Équipe alleges Sanhadji used his close relationships with French football stars to obtain loans, gifts, trips and personal favours. 🔸 He allegedly received €215,000 in loans from around 15 players/figures to help buy a €440,000 house — including €120,000 via Kylian Mbappé’s mother Fayza Lamari, €20,000 each from Raphaël Varane, Sabri Lamouchi and Laurent Blanc, €15,000 from Yann M’Vila and €7,500 from Mattéo Guendouzi. 🔸 Some were asked to keep the loans secret, with Sanhadji allegedly writing: “otherwise I’m dead”. 🔸 Lamari also paid €7,000 towards his dental treatment, while the Mbappé family funded other trips and hospitality for Sanhadji and his family. 🔸 Sanhadji’s relationship with the Mbappé family was so close that Lamari used him to pass messages to Didier Deschamps, including after Mbappé’s France omission in late 2024 and regarding Rayan Cherki. 🔸 Franck Ribéry gifted him a €6,000 holiday in Sicily after Sanhadji helped relatives with administrative paperwork. 🔸 Jamel Debbouze hosted him and his family at his Moroccan riad after Sanhadji secured a place for Debbouze’s son at a sought-after Clairefontaine training camp. 🔸 Patrice Evra offered him €10,000 in 2022 if he could obtain 80 tickets for the Liverpool vs Real Madrid Champions League final. ⚖️ Sanhadji is under formal investigation and judicial supervision.
