Jamie Carragher believes Manchester City should be punished for up to FIVE YEARS to force their biggest stars to leave: “I think the punishment should be over a number of years, THREE to FIVE years, and then players would move on. “If it’s just one season, a few players would leave, but some would say: ‘I could put up with that for a year.’ “But how could they afford those wages without Premier League money?” Carragher also believes City’s current owners should LEAVE the club: “How can you ever TRUST them if they’re found guilty of this?”
