FIFA are expected to unveil plans to reinvest more than $6 billion into football between 2027 and 2030. If the plans are approved, each member association’s funding would reach $25M, up from $1M when Gianni Infantino became FIFA president in 2016. The proposal would use over $3.5 billion from FIFA’s financial reserves, boosted hugely by the unprecedented commercial success of the 48-team World Cup. (via Espn)
